June turned out to be a very exciting month.
June / July News:
We had the team from Joshua Springs, CA, here for 9 days June 28th thru July 6th.
It is amazing how much they got done,
considering that two of those days were used for travel and one for Sunday service.
They hit the road running and were busy starting the construction of the bathroom for the church in El Terminal the very first work day.
We started by building a raised foundation (Click to enlarge) |
5 workdays later, they had the base with the plumbing in and the walls up (Click to enlarge) |
We took advantage that Pastor Alfredo Acevez was visiting and teaching one Sunday to do baby dedications. They were waiting for a Calvary Pastor to visit for this very special event.
We had 4 babies dedicated that Sunday (Click to enlarge) |

Great news, Jose Garate (The river preacher from Pucallpa), his wife and his two children have decided to join our ministry here in Iquitos. He will be helping with the new church in El Terminal at first until we have a Pastor, then he will be heading up the "River Ministry" for us.

We see many new faces and we notice the growth of the kids that we met two years ago.
