I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, it is my favorit holiday, and even though I have missed the last three at home, praise the Lord, I will be going home for Christmas and will make up for it by eating everything in site. I am already planning my eating schedule starting with a stop at the first I-Hop on the way home from the airport, when I arrive.
Here it is the latest update, I have good news and bad news.
The bad news, is that I have included two months again. Ya, I know, I'm slacking off!
The good news is that, it is totally up to date, with all the latest things that
are happening here in Iquitos.
We had a couple visit us, Ben & Tess from CC LIving Hope and they were joined by two interns Brian & Beth from the CC Bible College in Lima. They weren't really a team, so it was more relaxing but we still did a lot of ministry together.

we had the students & many Interns from the Bible College in Lima visit us in November.
As usual we had a lot of fun together and they were able to do lots of ministry. They had
prepared puppet shows and dramas before they arrived as well as teachings for our children,
Youth Group, Women's Group and even our Sunday and mid-week services. This preparation allowed
them to get right to work and do lots of ministry while they were here.
They brought a new song to Iquitos, the new famous chu-chu-wa, chu-chu-wa, chu-chu-wa-wa-wa song was a big hit with the kids (and adults too).
The highlight of their visit for me, was a concert they did for the street kids, we rented a conference room and had a few hour so fun, worship and teaching for the kids, we had about 70 show up, they weren't all street kids; the ones we know brought some of their friends.
I didn't get very many pictures of them, but here are the few that I did get.

Charles did his ministry in several cities in Peru, he was here about five months. While he was in Iquitos, he did ministry in several places, inclulding our church, the river community of Panguana, and he was a really good sport, I even took him down into Belen and he ministered to the children there inside Rosa's house, the mother of some of the children we know. The working conditions were not good as the floor moved when the kids ran around, but with the Lord's help Charles did ministry there two days and saved many teeth.

Jeremy and I will be going home for Christmas. Jeremy has missed one Christmas at home and I have missed two of them, so we are really looking forward to being home this Christmas.
Street Kids:
He has to take his pills for 15 days. Nixon sleeps on the streets, so please pray that I can find him every morning and night to give him his pills.

Opportunity to parner with us:
If you would like to contribute towards the building of the church in the river community of Panguana. We don't know exactly what we need, but we think it is about $3000 for the church and about $1000 for the Pastorial house next to the church, a place where we can put our backpacks and ministry supplies, where we can leave our food, and cook when we visit. You can send donations to the following address:
Friends of Calvary Chapel Bible College, Peru 1771 E. Palomar Street Chula Vista, CA 91913 Memo: "Iquitos - River Ministry"
Thank you all for your prayers and financial support.
and God Bless
