Hi Everyone,
Here is our January / February 2013 update;
The CC Murrieta team kept very busy, they did a Children's program every morning for the children of our church at El Terminal and they did a second program each day in the afternoons at different sites around Iquitos. I'm sorry that I didn't get many good pictures of them doing ministy but here are a few of the pictures that I have.

One of the places we visited was a new Shanty Town (below) across the highway from El Terminal, I had been wanting to visit these new families, but it was a more powerful visit arriving with the CC Murrieta team. Now when I visit they know who I am and what I do. The fruits of this visit is that we have 7 of those children now attending our Children's Church, next we need to focus on getting their parents to visit.

We also took advantage of having a Pastor from my home church (CC Murrieta) to pray for Raul and make him the Assistant Pastor at our church - "Calvary Chapel El Terminal".

I need to get a new camera, this one is stating to make me look old!
We also had Ines Olivera and her children come back and help us with ministry. They stayed for 40 days this time and mainly started discipleship training with the women and our teen girls. Ines also taught many of the Women's Ministry meetings at El Terminal, Ucayali Street and even at Kilometer 43 (Puerto Seguro). Her son Christian taught our Youth Groups and a few of our services. Her daughter Claudia helped teach the discipleship classes to our teen girls. They also helped with the Ucayali Street Bible Study and Children's program there.
I didn't get many good pictures of them either, but here are a couple.

That $60 mainly went to Estrella, whose family has been living in a tent for a couple of months because their home is flooded. The rivers are high again this year and many families have been displaced, not as many as last year, but it is still quite a problem for those who are.
