in January we had a visit from Tony and his team from Calvary Murrieta, it is always a joy
to have them visit and work with our kids. They did teachings, dramas, crafts, games &
a snack at each location the visited. I don't know how they did all that but they did,
they are very organized and have this ministry down pact.
They vistied El Terminal, Ucayali Street, Puerto Seguro & the river community of
Centro Fuerte.
El Terminal
Here is a quick & brief update of what we have been doing this year.
Youth Retreat
We had a Youth Retreat for the youths of our 4 locations. The teaching was on Responsible
Relationshps. It was a fun time of teaching and games.

Vacation Bible School
We were blessed to use some really good VBS materials and the help of Ines Olivera (from
Calvary Lima) to lead us in using the materials. The program was very thorough which included
the teaching with games and crafts that reinforced the teaching. Each day built on the day
before and left the childen with an expecation of what would happen tomorrow.

El Terminal - Church Anniversary
We had our 9th year anniversary at El Terminal, the time has gone by really quick. We had a nice
time of worship and a teaching, then we moved to a type of pot luck, where each family brought
thier own food and some extra to share with others. I was impressed on how our people have
matured, when I saw how they served those who had arrived without bringing anything. A true example of
love in action, they didn't have a moment of feeling uncomfortable for not bringing anything. The
brothers & sisters of our little church are maturing.

Albert
As some of you know, I was planning on going to California in November, it's always nice
to be home for Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday. But some unexpected ministry stuff came
up so I will be home from May 26th thru June 21st then off to spend a week with my daughter,
then I will be back in Peru on June 30th.
I have the same dilemna most missionaries have, when I say home, it means where I came from.
I am not sure where home is anymore, since Iquitos seems to be more of home now.
I would love to see all of you, but that may not be possible since my 3 1/2 weeks in California will
go by really fast. And 4 days of it will be at a conference. But here is my schedule, for those who
are interested.
May 26th Arriving in Californa
June 8th thru June 11th - attending a conference
June 21st leaving Californa
That is all I know at the moment.
Important Reminder
We thank all those who contribute to the ministries here in Iquitos and to those who contribute to our personal support,
it allows us to be here and do what we do. Albert & Jose's support has not changed, it still goes through Calvary Murrieta.
Support for the Ministries (like the children, Special Projects, Bibles, etc..) and support for Pastor Javier & Pastor Raul
are now going through Harvest Alliance, (see below for more details).
Iquitos Children
It turns out while working on Estrella's teeth - that they missed something, she will need a root canal on one of her molars.
Please pray the Lord would provide to get this fixed.
Wish List
As most of you know there are many needs here in Iquitos and I have been encouraged by others to let the needs
be known. There are needs for the people here, for the ministries and
for us who are working in the ministry. So this year I am putting out this Wish List to let people know
what we are praying for and what we could use in 2015.
Puerto Seguro (K43)
The land on this side of the creek has been given to the church that Pastor Javier is pastoring. So they
know feel more ownership and more secure and they are settling in for the long haul.
Luana is graduating from Bible College in may, she needs airfare to come back home ($200).
Pastor Javier would like to have a chain saw, the cost is about $760.
Pastor Javier would like to clear an area of land and plant it to help sustain his family - $2000.
River Ministry (K43)
Jose is praying for 2 generators, 1 for Panguana and 1 for Centro Fuerte - $500 each
Raul & Luzmila (K43)
Raul & Luzmila have moved to a new house, where there is a lot more business for their store
Raul & Luzmila need to put in a bathroom - $340.
Raul would like to better stock his store - $400.
Raul is praying for a drum set for the church - $640
Raul is praying for an electric piano/organ for the church - $525

We would like to build children's classrooms at the church in El Terminal - $5000.
We would like to build a first floor on the lot next to the church in El Terminal - $20,000.
Iquitos Children (K43)
Estrella's living condition: We are coming along side certain families, this is one family who's living condition needs help.
We put in the front, back walls and a little of one side wall to their house, it cost more than expected ($560), because of labor,
2 of our youth's who also need work were paid for working on this project. Below are updated pictures of the house
We would like to put in plumbing, a cement floor and the other 2 walls for Estrella and her family, (picture below) - $1000.
That Estrella's family could pay off the land they are living on - $600.
Before the front & back wall
After the front & back wall
Even 1/2 of the right wall
Praise Reports:
The Lord provided for Pastor Javier & Karina to buy their washing machine.
The Lord provided for most of the cost for Albert to travel to California.
The Lord provided to put a front and back wall on Estrella's house.
The church in Panguana is finished, just a few details like locks are left.
The Lord has knitted the members in El Terminal together, they are always eager to help on different projects.
The land on this side of the creek is now under Pst. Javier church (K43), so they now feel more ownership.
The Lord has provided transportation (a forgonette) for Pst. Javier & the church at Puerto Seguro.
Prayer Requests:
Please continue to pray for our leaders, Pst. Jose & Lida, Pst. Javier & Karina, Pst. Raul & Luzmila, Albert.
Please pray that the Lord would provide for Estrella's root canal ($395).
Please pray for the church in El Terminal as we continue to reach out to the community.
Please pray for Pst. Jose & Lidia, for their travels on the rivers for their ministry, the rivers have risen dramatically this year.
Please pray for Luana; she graduated on May 23rd, that the Lord would use her.
Please pray for Gabriella as she is in her last year of University.
That the Lord would provide for several single parent families here, that are in need.
